SONGS FOR CHILDREN’S CHURCH

Each month at Children’s Church we usually sing three songs:
A traditional hymn.
A children’s song. When we sing this during the service, we hand out percussion instruments for younger children to play.
A traditional evening hymn.
Children who sing in the choir are provided with a booklet which includes the melody line of each hymn or song. The full versions with harmony or accompaniment are provided as PDFs below for reference purposes.

This month’s service celebrates the presentation of the baby Jesus in the Temple at Jerusalem. The music includes a new arrangement of The Song of Simeon, which is also called the ‘Nunc Dimittis’.
